On Friday, March 12 the SFPOA hosted a meeting for CPOMF. The main purpose of the meeting was to finalize arrangements for the upcoming California Peace Officers Memorial ceremony in May.
Also at the meeting was Cameron Lochte of the San Francisco Giants. He presented the foundation with a check which represented money raised at the Giants Law Enforcement baseball night last summer. In return Sgt. Wayne Quint, President of CPOMF presentedMr. Lochte with a bronze replica of the California memorial sculpture. Sgt. Bob Guinan has been coordinating the law Enforcement baseball night with the Giants for a number of years, and this year he has secured Wednesday, August 11 (vs. Chicago Cubs) as Law Enforcement night. Bob will have flyers regarding the event posted at each station in the near future.
